All our Hardwood Windows are made in our state of the art production facility using only the finest of materials sourced from sustainable plantations. All hardwood products are factory finished in colours or stains of your choice and glazed with 24mm, low e., argon filled double glazed units which are beaded in with a dry glazing system.
A strong robust material that does not rust and can be powder coated to any one of a long list of colours. Being such a rigid material it can be extruded in far slimmer profiles to achieve the same strength as heavier uPVC profiles. Modern profiles are produced with a separate inner and outer profile that are then bonded together with a plastic resin that resists the movement of heat from inside to outside, this we call thermally broken.
The strength and sharp lines of aluminium make it a perfect material for modern elegant structures and it is predominantly used in the commercial sector. Its ability to be powder coated to any available colour allows the customer to match the product to many other building features. Aluminium windows are particularly good where there are high levels of air pollutants as in salt water spray near the coast or exhaust emissions in the towns and cities.
