Supporting our local community when it matters most
The events in Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent, this week have been devastating for the families whose homes have been affected by the fire.
Several homes were destroyed in the blaze, leaving local families facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. While nothing can undo what has happened, the response from the local community has shown just how much people care, with residents, organisations and local businesses coming together to offer practical support to those affected.
As a local business, Strata Windows wanted to play our own small part in supporting those affected by the Sandyford fire.
Strata Windows donates Morrisons vouchers
On behalf of everyone at Strata Windows, we have donated Morrisons vouchers to help families affected by the fire with some of the everyday essentials they may need in the days and weeks ahead.
Following a disaster of this scale, there are so many immediate necessities that can easily be taken for granted. From food and clothing to toiletries, medical supplies and other household essentials, these vouchers are intended to give families a little additional support while they begin to deal with the aftermath.
Our team has delivered the vouchers directly to those affected, and we hope they can provide some practical help during what is undoubtedly an incredibly challenging time.
A community coming together
One of the most positive things to come from such a difficult situation has been seeing the response from the people and businesses of Stoke-on-Trent.
Local communities have rallied together to collect and provide essential supplies, while businesses and individuals have offered their own support to help families who have suddenly found themselves without many of the things we normally take for granted.
At Strata Windows, we have always been proud to be part of the local community. For us, supporting the people around us isn’t just about the work we do; it’s also about being there when our local community needs help.
Our contribution may be small compared with the scale of what has happened, but we hope the vouchers will make things just a little easier for the families affected.
